The purpose of Hum Marriage Events is to introduce suitable partners to men and women for marriage.

When registering, you agree that the information you submit is true, accurate and not misleading.

Hum Marriage Events reserves the right to refuse an application for registration or to remove a client from our register or Event without giving reason and without refunding a payment if our services are misused, or if a client is disrespectful or rude to a member of staff or to other clients, or if we find client’s information to be falsified or incorrect; subject to a fair opportunity of appeal.

Despite the care taken in accepting clients and in making introductions, Hum Marriage Events will not be held responsible for any claim, which may arise in any case.

Tickets and purchases are non-transferable and non-refundable. There are no exceptions.

You must be over 18 to attend an event.

No audio-visual equipment of any kind is allowed at the event. Cameras are not permitted. Respect all attendees and staff. We will not tolerate any misbehaviour or abuse towards staff or other clients.

We do not permit individuals to attend if they are already married. We do not assist or permit entry to an event if you are looking for a second wife!

All attendees must have legal right to stay in the United Kingdom. We may ask for proof of this.

We may ask clients for proof of ID.

We host matchmaking events for the purpose of individuals to get to know one-another which may hopefully lead to marriage.

When you register with us, you provide certain information such as your name, age, contact details, occupation, the city in which you live, and your education level amongst other things. We may send this information to other clients attending on the day of the event if we feel you are well-suited to one-another, and you may receive similar information about them. This is simply an introduction to provide a better experience for you on the day of the event so you have an idea on who you may wish to communicate with. When registering with us, you are agreeing to us sending such information about yourself to other clients. We usually only send the following information to your matches – First Name, Age, City in which you live, Education Level, Occupation, Mobile Number/Email/Landline Number and Marital Status. We may include other information that you have provided. If there is any information you do not want us to send to matches, please state this when registering. As we cannot be held responsible for sending information you did want us to send without letting us know.

Any changes or amendments to your details can only be accepted in writing by the client and sent to info@hummarriageevents.com.

We cannot be held responsible for your information being misused by other clients. We simply send your information to your matches, and we state here – our clients must erase and/or destroy other client’s information after the event if either party do not wish to communicate further. We cannot be held responsible for what they choose to do with your information afterwards. It is against our policy and the law to misuse information that is no longer intended for you. Clients should not pass on any details or information of other clients to any other person, companies, organisations or bodies, as this information is confidential and only intended for the use of the client. Please destroy the information if you are no longer contacting the match. It is a criminal offence to ignore this!

We request Clients maintain utmost confidentiality and privacy regarding any individual they meet or speak with at an event.

Family or Friends can set up and register a ticket to an event for you on your behalf. This is accepted as a ticket and all rules within this writing still apply to this.

From time to time you may receive promotional offers and news via email, telephone, messaging or mail. By registering with us or submitting your information to us, you are agreeing to receive such information. If you wish to unsubscribe from such contact, simply do so by informing us via email or clicking ‘unsubscribe’ if available within the email. We do not sell or misuse your information.

We reserve the right to change or alter or cancel event dates/event times/event locations without warning and without reimbursement of your payment. If we adjust an event, we aim to give at least 3 days notice. We will also aim to host another event in the same city or nearby to replace the adjusted event. Your ticket to the original event may entitle you entry to the event in replacement to one we cancelled/moved providing they are priced the same. If the adjusted event is priced higher you will need to pay the extra amount. If you refuse to pay the additional cost you may not be permitted to attend the event and you will not be eligible for a refund. In such cases we may allow you to attend the event without paying the additional cost, in compensation for adjusting the original event. (We are a fair company!)

Under no circumstances will a refund be given

If you do not find a partner at an event, a refund will not be given

If you cannot attend an event, a refund will not be given

Tickets cannot be forwarded to future events

If a smaller number of people attend an event than expected, a refund will not be given

If there is not an even split of males and females, a refund will not be given

You cannot transfer a ticket to someone else

We reserve the right to decline a ticket purchase if our event has been fully booked, or if we have too many males or too many females. We try to ensure an even split of males and females, and so we may cancel and refund a ticket if we need to reduce numbers of males or females.

Coupon Codes, Discounts or Promotions that We conduct or provide are for limited periods of time. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any Coupon Codes, Discounts or Promotions without warning. You cannot receive a refund of the difference of your payment if you paid more than the Coupon Code, Discounted or Promotional price. If you have paid for your membership at our full price you are not entitled to any form of reimbursement if we have any active Coupon Codes, Discounts or Promotions or if we create a new Coupon Code, Discount or Promotion campaign afterwards.

We reserve the right to amend or change any conditions within this writing at any time without warning.
